- Environmental applications of metal and metal oxides-based nanomaterials, including (but not limited to) Ag, Au, Fe, TiO2, ZnO, and CeO2 nanomaterials
- Environmental applications of carbon-based nanomaterials, such as:
- graphene and graphene oxide
- carbon nanotubes
- fullerenes
- graphitic carbon nitride
- carbon quantum dots
- Development of new nanomaterials for environmental applications
- Occurrence, fate, and transport of nanomaterials in the environment
- Transformation of nanomaterials in the environment
- Toxicity, uptake, bioavailability, and bioaccumulation of nanomaterials
- Life cycle assessment (LCA) of nanomaterials
